In love, Confused, Afraid to Love and Be Hurt

Hi, I am at my early 30's. Never been in a relationship, never gone out on a date. Because I was too damn afraid. Afraid to be judge, afraid to love and be hurt.

I have been secretly in love with a very close female friend of mine, by the way I am female too. Never associated myself to be lesbian or bisexual. All the while i thought i was straight. Till she came along, a bifem.

I am struggling with how I feel for her. She has no inclination of how much i feel for her. I have been inlove with her for 2 years now. I see her everyday..basically we do stuff together. She have had some love issues recently. I hated the girl she fell for. Im at the state now of being torn to tell her or not to tell her. I know she sees.me as.her bestfriend and i dont want to ruin it. But at the same time i wanna tell her how long i have lived her.

Confused, afraid, and undecided. Will someone out there please give me an advise.

If by telling her i will lose her then i d rather be hurt and love her in my own special way.
